Welcome to the Borough of Little Silver, a community of approximately 6,000 residents in eastern Monmouth County.Little Silver has an outstanding school system, is a stone's throw to New Jersey's beaches, and has direct train service to Manhattan. Our town has a proud history, with the Lenni Lenape tribe among its earliest settlers, and is friendly, prosperous and vibrant.
Beginning Monday, May 21st, 2018, New Jersey American Water Company will begin upgrading water services on Branch Avenue. The work will be performed by Henkels & McCoy, a subcontractor for New jersey American Water Company. Due to the volume of traffic on Branch Avenue the work must be done at night. Branch Avenue will be closed between Sycamore Avenue and White Road from approximately 6:30 p.m., until 4:00 a.m. each night. Work will be done Monday through Friday nights, weather permitting, except for Memorial Day weekend, and should be done within 3 weeks. Depending on where the crews are working, there may be construction noise in the area. Officers on location will attempt to get residents residing in the construction area in and out of the construction area as needed. Please avoid that area during the closures if possible and follow the detour.
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE AND CEREMONY
The Memorial Day Parade will commence at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 28th at Willow and Parker Avenues. The parade will proceed to Memorial Park with ceremonies beginning at 9 a.m. The Parade is held rain or shine but in the event of heavy rain the ceremony will be held in Borough Hall.

Phone Scam Warning (pdf)
The Little Silver Police Department has received numerous complaints regarding an aggressive and sophisticated phone scam targeting taxpayers, including recent immigrants, which has been making the rounds throughout the country. Callers claim to be employees of the IRS, but are not. These con artists can sound convincing when they call. They use fake names and bogus IRS identification badge numbers. They may know a lot about their targets, and they usually alter the caller ID to make it look like the IRS is calling.
Do not give any information to unsolicited phone callers at any time. Please click below for more information.
