Historical Society The Little Silver Historical Society was formed in 1973 in order to raise funds to move the Post Office building from its original location on Church Street to its current location next to the Library to make room for the Cheshire Square development. Great strides were made; the building was relocated, renovations made and a museum was created within from the generous donations from the Borough and townspeople!

Research files for each and every home and all other historic buildings in Little Silver will now be compiled. Please consider submitting copies of any information you may have on your home (photos, deeds, remembrances, etc.), for use by all current and future residents & historians. We are in need of volunteers to help tag, sort and fill these files. Little Silver Post Office Museum Stop in and explore the history of Little Silver in photographs & memorabilia.
